Coming up!

Hello friends!

I wanted to make sure you knew about a couple of great things coming up...first off, the Vegan Health Bundle is coming March 1-10. Basically, a bunch of incredible vegan/WFPBNO doctors, authors, recipe creators, speakers, etc. submitted books/recipes/classes/seminars/videos/coupons that they put in one place (all the content adds up to over $7800!) that you can buy for $49.

I submitted an ebook copy of For Fork's Sake, so if you've been waiting to purchase my book, this would be a FANTASTIC time to get it, because you'll be getting so much else along with it!

There's a gut health mini-course by Dr. McDougall, recipes and a fascia Flo class from Dreena Burton, recipes from Chef AJ, Del Sroufe, Reebs and Dillon Holmes, Dr. Fuhrman's Infection Protection, Plantstrong recipes and coupons, Vegan Kids can Cook by Dr. Niki Davis, Plentiful Weightloss cook along with Plentiful Kiki, videos and interviews by Tim Kaufman, hundreds of raw recipes, dressing recipes, a WFPBNO Indian food cookbook and SO MUCH MORE from over 140 contributors.

(There's also a Collector's Recipe ebook with over 60 spring themed recipes that comes with the bundle, and I contributed my Deviled not-Eggs recipe--perfect for Easter or spring gatherings, and potlucks or barbecues as the weather warms up. )

This bundle is only available March 1-10.

I'll send you the link for it March 1st at 7am so you can jump on it while it lasts.

I'll be on Chef AJ's show again!

10amPST Friday, March 1st I'll be talking with Chef AJ about how to take the whole family from SAD to HAPPY*.

If you're a local, come join me:

  • "Get Cultured: fermentation basics for making sauerkraut and yogurt demonstration" Tuesday, March 5th, 6-8pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church (1024 Cayuga Street, Santa Cruz) in Sundean Hall (around the back and side of the main building). I will be speaking following the demonstration. It's sure to be a fun night!

  • I'll be speaking in Riverside, CA on March 6th, and at the Santa Cruz VegFest April 6th. The VegFest is expecting up to 5,000 people! Entrance is $5 but you can get in free if you volunteer. Vendors, exhibits, samples, speakers...come enjoy a local VegFest in action.

I'll be going LIVE and doing lots of interviews next week, so if you're on social media, keep your eye out there IG: @forforkssakebook, FB: For Fork's Sake Book (I'll upload what I can to YouTube so you can catch it there afterwards in case you miss it).

OH--and tomorrow at 1pm at the Felton Library Dr. Steven Leib will be speaking. We're collaborating on some upcoming projects...come hear what he has to say.

Enjoy a HAPPY* Friday,

Rachael

If you weren't able to make it this year, I highly recommend going or volunteering next year. It was a great event. I enjoyed speaking on helping kids eat healthier I loved meeting so many...

Happy April 1st! Go (Brazil) nuts Every month, on the first of the month, we have 4 Brazil nuts. Why? Because it gives us all the selenium we need for the MONTH. (See the study here.) T. Colin Campbell's nutritional biochemistry work on how our body uses food in natural form through thousands and thousands of metabolic reactions versus supplementation should cause us all to rethink the supplements we consume. In his book Whole, he explains the science behind the evidence that consuming a...
